Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, CA – Supersized!
5November 4, 2013 by Deborah W. Trotter
We spent the past weekend among giants. Giant Sequoia trees, that is. From General Grant in Kings Canyon to General Sherman in Sequoia and everything in between, these amazing plants, hundreds of feet tall and thousands of years old, must be seen to be believed.
Besides the giant Sequoias, these two National Parks preserve spectacular mountains, rivers, waterfalls and miles of hiking trails. Over the weekend, I reached and exceeded my 60 mile goal for 2013. I will recount those steps in future posts.
Hi Debby,
Those pictures are so beautiful!! Dave looks so tiny. 🙂

Thanks Caroline! You might be the first person ever to use Dave and tiny in the same sentence. 🙂

Wow. Thank you so much. I am truly honored!
You’re welcome, it’s much-deserved, especially after that pesky govt shutdown that affected national parks!
