Yosemite National Park, CA – Freeze Frame
4December 9, 2013 by Deborah W. Trotter
Last week we went to Yosemite for three days to partake of fine wines and food at one of the annual Vintners Holiday sessions at the Ahwahnee Hotel. Shortly before we arrived a snowstorm had dropped white fluff onto trees, meadows, and granite valley walls, turning the Park’s scenery into a winter postcard. Outside temperatures near freezing, or well below, and perfectly still air preserved the frosty conditions the whole time we were there.
Beautiful. I do need to visit that place some day.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you do get to Yosemite some day. It is unique and one of the most spectacular places on the planet. 🙂
The Ahwahnee, my favorite hotel in the world in my favorite place on earth(apart from the heron’s lake, f course}. Your post is a wonderful holiday gift. Thank you!
Glad you liked the post!
